ABOUT US
OUR MISSION
Regenerating nature, reversing climate change, restoring biodiversity, and positively transforming life in rural communities.
2020
Reflora was born with the purpose of being an agent of change. To combat the climate crisis and transform the future of our planet by helping companies on their decarbonization journey: from calculating to offsetting greenhouse gas emissions.
2021
Mastering the complexity of the International Voluntary Market, we focus on project analysis and have developed an in-house tool – a risk and quality matrix called RIQA. By bringing transparency, trust, and traceability, we have built a robust portfolio capable of meeting the individual needs of each of our clients.
2022
After numerous interactions with the market, our clients, and partners, we realized that the most effective way to ensure impact and deliver purpose would be through structuring and developing our own projects. The first step? A reforestation project, marking the beginning of a new phase in our journey.
2023
We began planting our Serra Viva Project in Olaria, MG. We completed the pilot phase of the project with 34,000 seedlings of 35 native species. This initiative benefited over 65 families and marks the start of environmental recovery and social development in the region.
2024
We continue to assist our clients in offsetting their emissions through our curated carbon projects and are expanding our reforestation initiative in southern Minas Gerais, always focusing on biodiversity and the development of local communities. We have established ourselves as project developers in Brazil and are ready to pursue the dream of restoring thousands of degraded areas across the country.
